Week 7 Muddiest Points

1. Is there a minimum standard that must be met when using Dublin Core to manage metadata? Such as, a certain amount of elements that must be used?
2. First I need to admit that this question came from watching crime shows on TV!  On TV, the police are able to trace computer activity over the internet back to an IP address, and find the suspect that way. How exactly do they do this? Or is that fictional?
3. Talking about routers made me curious about something: I remember reading that newer technologies are replacing the router. Do they do what the router did, only better, or do they do something different, or in a different way?
